Know the number before anyone starts working
Home services have a trust problem, and pricing is the reason. We quote in writing, itemize the parts and labor, and credit the diagnostic fee toward the repair. If a part is not needed, we tell you that too.
Straight answer
What does our diagnostic fee include?
The diagnostic fee is $89 and it is credited toward whatever repair you approve. It covers a complete evaluation: refrigerant pressures, amp draw, capacitor values, airflow and static pressure, plus a written summary with photos of anything we found. If you choose not to repair, the diagnosis is still yours.
We do not quote repair prices over the phone for a system we have not tested. A no-cooling call can be a $20 capacitor or a failed compressor, and they look identical from the thermostat. A phone number would be a guess.

These are real Valley ranges, not teaser pricing. Your written estimate reflects your home, and anything not needed does not appear on it.

- AC repair: $180 to $650 typical
- AC tune-up: single visit, priced upfront
- AC or heat pump replacement: $6,500 to $15,000 installed
- Furnace replacement: $4,500 to $9,000 installed
- Heat pump repair: $200 to $750 typical
Plumbing, electrical & air
- Water heater replacement: $1,400 to $2,800 installed
- Drain cleaning: $150 to $600
- Leak detection: $250 to $650
- Whole house repiping: $6,000 to $15,000
- EV charger installation: $800 to $2,500
- Standby generator: $5,500 to $25,000 installed
Ranges reflect normal conditions and standard access. Long runs, attic work, concrete cutting, panel upgrades and permit fees are itemized separately so you can see where the money goes.
No surprises
What is always included in a written price
- Parts and labor separately, so you can see the equipment cost and the installation cost rather than one blended number.
- Permit fees where your city requires them, listed as their own line.
- Materials that a cheap quote usually omits: line sets, drain pans, expansion tanks, pads, sealing materials and drywall repair.
- Warranty terms for both equipment and our workmanship, in writing.
- Optional items listed separately, so recommended-but-not-required work never silently lands on the invoice.
When something unexpected appears mid-job, work stops and you get an updated price before anything continues.

Pricing questions

Because a no-cooling call could be a small capacitor or a failed compressor, and they present identically. A phone quote is a guess or a number designed to get a truck to your house. The diagnostic is the only honest answer.
After-hours rates apply outside business hours, and the dispatcher tells you the rate before dispatching, so nothing is a surprise on the invoice. Repair pricing itself does not change with the clock.
Installation and replacement estimates are genuinely free: we measure, inspect the ducts and electrical, and prepare an itemized proposal at no charge. Repair diagnostics carry the $89 fee, credited if you proceed.
