Four recent projects, and what each one involved

Every job below started with a measurement and ended with documented final readings. Names and street details are left out, the technical findings are not.

Full system changeout, Scottsdale

The problem: a 16-year-old system on its third repair in two summers, with two upstairs rooms that never cooled.

What we found: the load calculation showed the old unit was oversized, and the second-floor return was undersized, so the equipment short-cycled while the far rooms starved for air.

How it finished: right-sized variable-speed system, corrected return and sealed ducts, permitted and inspected. Upstairs rooms now hold setpoint within two degrees of downstairs.

Whole house repipe, Glendale

The problem: a 1974 home with galvanized supply lines, three leaks in eighteen months and rusty water every morning.

What we found: heavy internal corrosion through the entire system, with pressure dropping from 58 psi at the meter to 31 psi at a second-floor fixture.

How it finished: full repipe in PEX through the attic, new shutoffs and hose bibs, drywall patched and textured, permitted and pressure tested. Pressure at the furthest fixture now reads 52 psi.

Tankless conversion, Gilbert

The problem: a family of five running out of hot water with a 50-gallon tank that was also rumbling from scale.

What we found: hard water had scaled the tank bottom, and the closet was too small for a larger tank. The gas line also needed upsizing for tankless demand.

How it finished: tankless unit installed with a new gas line, proper venting and a descaling schedule explained. Endless hot water with a smaller footprint than the tank it replaced.

The problem: a new EV owner whose 100-amp panel was already carrying an electric range and a pool pump.

What we found: the load calculation showed no headroom for a 48-amp charger without risk of nuisance tripping.

How it finished: a 200-amp service upgrade, then a hardwired Level 2 charger on a dedicated circuit, permitted and inspected with a documented charge test.
